Un método de construcción único y patentado
The construction of Soldomo’s monolithic dome villa is based on a patented, efficient, and fast technique. It uses only specific concrete blocks that provide lightness, strength, and insulation, and require no reinforcement. The closest historical reference to this construction method is the Pantheon in Rome. Designed by Roman engineers two thousand years ago, it is the largest unreinforced dome in the world, with a diameter of 43 meters.
The monolithic dome works as a series of concentric rings that compress against one another. This design makes it possible to leave an opening at the top called an “oculus.” This oculus removes the most critical part of the dome, thereby reducing the pressure exerted by the concrete blocks.
